Day with Oma- Tyrrell Museum

Victoria went on her day with Oma to Drumheller to see the Tyrrell Museum. She had never been before and LOVED it! They went through twice and she loved seeing and learning about all the Dinosaurs. She was even able to join a kids program and travel back in time and BE a dinosaur! She loved it! Thanks Oma!!

Oma has been wanting to take each of the girls for a day this summer. So, she took Naomi to Heritage park. They had a great time and Naomi loved the rides- especially the catapiller rollercoaster and the train. They had a great time and Naomi enjoyed the treats from the bakery and the candy store!

Calaway Park

What a great day we had! We got up early and were at the park by 10:15! The kids started on the kiddie-rollercoaster- which Victoria LOVED and which scared Naomi off going on anymore rides..... I need to remember for next time that I have to ease Naomi into things like that! She did go on a few others, but mostly because I coaxed her into it, or in one case I actually did not give her any choice. By the end of the day she was having fun again. PHEW!
Victoria, on the other hand, went on every ride she could! Those that she was not tall enough to go on by herself she managed to convince her Mom or one of her Aunts to go with her. She had a wonderful day and was so excited that she had grown so much and could now go on so many rides!!! Her favorite is the Log-Ride. Her second favorite is the one that spins around so fast that you stick to the walls. She was tall enough to go on that by herself- which was a relief because I felt sick just watching her go on it! She loved it so much that she ran off and ran right on again. I remember when that was my favorite ride.... I am such a wimp now!!
I was extremely relieved when Victoria was tall enough to go on the strawberries by herself. I went on them with her last year and never really recovered from it. I felt soooooo sick for the rest of the day! I took pictures this year to celebrate my relief! She went on with her cousin Mable instead.
We had a great day and finally left when the park closed at 7:30. The kids slept all they way home!
