Splash Park

It is a wonderful place with a fully fenced splash park and a nice grassy park for parents to sit. It is great! The kids played and played and had a great time. Unfortunately Victoria would not let me take her picture...

Some day she is going to wonder why there are not as many pictures of her growing up as there are of her sisters...

Genevieve was wonderful, as usual.

Rocky Mountain Elk Farm

Today both Naomi and Victoria were invited to a birthday party so we decided to take Olivia to the local Elk farm to look at all the animals and go on a hay ride.

She was pretty captivated by the caribou!

Genevieve cooperated too and we had a fun time. Then we bought some Elk and Bison meat. Yummy!

Aunty Mollie came to visit!

This summer Christina's best friend from school, Mollie, came to visit. She lives in Ottawa now and only comes out for business. We were lucky that she had a conference in Banff.
We also got to see our friend Colleen! It was GREAT! It has been at least a year since we have seen them. It was a fun afternoon of catching up and reminiscing. It is too bad that Mollie lives so far away and that we do not get to see them very often. We were so happy that she was able to take time to visit us!

Blessings

Genevieve and her cousin Lucy were born almost exactly one month apart. We decided to have them blessed on the same day and have just one family party. Then, ofcourse, we had to

take some pictures of them in their blessing dresses. They were so cute!

At the Zoo with Oma!

This summer Oma took Victoria and Naomi to the Zoo. They spent the whole day there and had a great time. They saw all the animals and even went to the dinosaur park. At the end of the day I asked the girls what their favorite part of the zoo was, and they said that the icecream they ate after lunch was the highlight! Nothing like spending top dollar to go somewhere cool only to have the simplest thing be their favorite part :)

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!!

This summer we discovered the 'Okotoks Dawgs'!

They are the local

ball team and they are really fun to watch and they have a special section for kids (so the kids can run around while we watch the game). It was great!

The Dawgs won every game we went to and the weather was always warm and beautiful. We will definately be going back next season!
