Naomi's birthday

This year our little Naomi turned 5!! She was so excited for her birthday and she knew exactly what kind of birthday she wanted, the kind of cake and where she wanted to go. She picked a local indoor playpark, she wanted a Hawaiian birthday with a jell-o cake. So, that is what we did.
First we headed to the local indoor playpark with 4 of her friends and her sisters. After spending a small fortune to get them all in (!!) they had a great time and played hard for about 45 minutes and then decided that they wanted cake and presents. Sigh...
So, we headed home and had pizza, pina-coladas,
cake and then presents. Naomi really wanted a jell-o 'cake' and was really excited about it, but then decided as I was serving the 'cake' that she does not like jell-o. Sigh...

They had a great time opening presents and all seemed to have fun. That is all that matters!!

Random...

My kids love to play with our camera. They are always sneaking off with it and I will find it later full of random, interesting pictures. Some of them are hilarous and capture my kids perfectly and some are so blurred and fuzzy you cannot tell what they were of. I remember hearing them take the one of Naomi pretending to pick her nose- they were all laughing so hard!!!
I thought I would put a few of the pictures in here so you can all see the world through my kids eyes for a minute!!

Latin Dance Lessons

James and I signed up for Latin Dance lessons- that is I signed us up and James was a very good sport about it. He actually got the steps faster than I did most of the time- he is very good! We learned the Rhumba, Cha-cha, Merange and the Salsa. It was a lot of fun and we really need to go dancing at a Latin dance club!! Try out our new moves :)
Bubbles!!

It was an amazingly warm day in February and the kids and I got out all the bubble stuff and had fun blowing bubbles on the back deck. It was so warm and the kids had so much fun running around, blowing bubbles and popping them. What a treat in the middle of winter! Genevieve watched us from the door and thought that the bubbles were teriffic!
