We went for a picnic at Red Rock Canyon in Waterton with James' parents. We were eating a wonderful meal at the picnic tables and we could see a sheet of rain coming over the mountain toward us. We were so mesmerized by the amazing scene that it was not until the storm was on top of us that we realized we in the middle of a downpour and we scrambled to pack up the picnic and run for cover. How silly!!
It quickly cleared and we walked up the river for a while. It was beautiful- as always. James and the older two went as far up stream as they could. They had a lot of fun. The Parents were taking care of the baby and Olivia and I went back to check on them. It was beautiful and sunny. We had a wonderful afternoon. We stopped at the candy store for some ice cream on the way home. It was a great day!
